Getting To Know: Killswitch Engage
Nov 05.09 | Killswitch Engage have come a long way in their decade long existence as a band. Going from a self-titled debut release as a side project touring in a van and playing some of the smallest venues across the country, to a second self-titled full length release on a Major Label from a career band that now tours on a bus and plays Arenas both at home and abroad is not too shabby for a band that only has 10 years under it's belt. more...
More goodness on the boil!!!!
Posted on Official signmeto Roadrunner Records Blog by Jonny_SattsOct 05.09 | Friends,
We have been working with the Aussie development team who put the backend of signmeto together to come up with a huge manifesto of improvements and feature upgrades that we are hoping to implement over the coming months.
Yes, it can be frustrating waiting for things to come to light. more...
Some shit got fixed :D
Posted on Official signmeto Roadrunner Records Blog by Jonny_SattsSep 04.09 | Friends,
Those of you who have followed my entries at this blog have seen that we have been pretty forthcoming about our issues, problems and bugs in relation to signmeto.
I am happy to say that this week our developers delivered a new build that addressed a number of lingering bugs. more...
Search, navigation and ratings.......addressing your frustrations......
Posted on Official signmeto Roadrunner Records Blog by Jonny_SattsAug 27.09 | At the top of the signmeto homepage is a link to an online questionnaire that many of you have kindly filled out. The answers and responses people have sent through have been extremely helpful to us as we are working through all the development priorities, bugs and so forth.
Now that signmeto has had some chance to mature a little bit, it appears that there are a few regular issues that continue to crop up, especially in people's survey submissions. more...

This feedback, combined with the many comments offered up using the Feedback widget, has helped us immensely as we work through the many issues/tweaks/bugs/problems that have been cropping up at the site. more...
How do I get noticed at signmeto??
Posted on Official signmeto Roadrunner Records Blog by Jonny_SattsAug 07.09 | A number of questions have come our way about the various means of promoting your band once you have uploaded your stuff into the signmeto system. Kind of like, "Okay, I've got a profile up-and-running....now what??!"
From the outset, I have to admit - the current tools are not very sexy. It is very high on our list to create a suite of self-help products to give artists a much better way of attracting attention. more...
Getting signed to Roadrunner Records ain't easy....
Posted on Official signmeto Roadrunner Records Blog by Jonny_SattsAug 03.09 | ....but maybe we made it just a tiny bit easier.
Well, at least we have made the submission of music a helluva lot easier.
Yes, we recently launched our new A&R (Artists & Repertoire) website - signmeto.roadrunnerrecords.com. It's not the usual closed shop, however. Signmeto goes beyond a simple demo submission form and allows bands to give it their best shot with 3 tunes, 3 pics, some bio info, an embedded YouTube vid and even some tour dates. more...

Kylesa: Static Tensions - Strip away Mastodon's penchant for mythology, grandioity and a couple other big "ologies", dirty it up, add a second drummer and you've got fellow Georgians, Kylesa. You've also earned a nod from the other locals Baroness. "Static Tension" isn't going to convince anyone that the band doesn't come from a scene where Neurosis are Zeppelin. more...
Going Through Puberty All Over Again
Posted on The Mail Bag by Jeremy RosenApr 22.09 | For our first email this week, I can't quote you anything because the dude didn't actually include any text in his email. He sent me an email with "more theory of a deadman in formation" as the subject line. I'm going to take that to mean he wants to see photos of the band dressed up like soldiers. Well BamEp8@***. more...
The Top 20 Most Underrated Albums of All Time! (we think...)
Apr 16.09 | The most heated list yet here at Roadrunner Records, the most underrated albums of all time. For the sake of argument, 5 of us here sat down (the most argumentative of the bunch) and hacked out top 20 lists of what we each thought were the top 20 most underrated albums.
As you can guess this sparked heavy debate, and some of us didn't even want to sign off on the final list, but through it all what we came up with democratically is as follows. more...
On Getting Engaged
Posted on The Mail Bag by Jeremy RosenApr 01.09 | I sure don't want to after reading this first letter.
Hi Roadrunner,more...I am writing to you because this is a last resort. I am trying to get in touch with Slipknot. The reason for this is that he could assist me in thanking my best friend who has done a gesture that is extra ordinary and as Slipknot is my friends' biggest idol, a thank you from him would make his day!
Non-Metal Albums For Metal-Heads
Posted on JD's Web Log by JDMar 26.09 | Most metal-heads eat, shit and breathe metal 24 hours a day. This is a great thing, but there's a faction of this group that refuses to even think about listening to anything non-metal, which isn't a great thing, because being that closed minded is going to cause you to miss out on a lot of music that you may actually love. more...
